Discover the joy of baking in this beginner-friendly workshop! You’ll learn key skills measuring, mixing and following simple step by step instructions. This workshop is great for building confidence in the kitchen!
Play minecraft in a safe creative space. Team up for builds and challenges. Learn cyber safety and smart gaming. Grow leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Barista
Learn the essentials of coffee-making in this hands-on barista workshop! Perfect for beginners, you’ll get practical experience using a coffee machine, steaming milk, and making popular café drinks. A great intro for anyone curious about coffee or looking to gain skills and experience!
Walk & Talk
Walk and talk is a walking group for 16-24 year olds looking to get outside, connect and enjoy some time away from the usual routine. Suitable for all fitness levels! Whether you like to chat or just want a peaceful stroll, come hang out and walk with us!

Keen to meet new people and have a laugh? Come along to our games session Join us for an awesome games session! We have something to suit everyone, from arcades, PS5, pool, air hockey, foosball we have it all right here at Taiohi Tūrama.
Colour & Calm is a creative, beginner-friendly workshop for 16–24 year olds, designed to help you slow down, relax, and connect through mindful colouring. Over six weeks, you’ll take on fun weekly challenges using alcohol markers, while learning new colouring techniques and building confidence in your creative abilities. Along the way, you’ll also learn how to reflect on your work, helping you notice your progress and enjoy the process. No experience needed, just come as you are and enjoy a calming space to get creative.
Life Skills
Our 6-session Life Skills Workshop gives you the tools to live independently and confidently. Learn how to flat or rent smart, prep and plan meals, budget your money, get job-ready, and take care of your wellbeing. Whether you’re leaving home, starting work, or just want to feel more in control—this workshop sets you up for success. Aimed at 16-24 year olds.
Cooking
Learn to cook tasty, cheap, and easy meals that anyone can make! This hands-on workshop teaches you simple recipes, smart shopping tips, and kitchen skills to help you eat well on a budget—no experience needed.
We help you turn your thoughts, stories, and emotions into powerful creative works. Whether you’re into songwriting, beat-making, filmmaking, or video editing, we give you the tools, guidance, and space to bring your vision to life. Aimed at 12-24yr olds.
