Kia ora! Joel King-Hazel here. I am one of the team members of the youth development team.
Our team is dedicated to creating programmes and projects for young people to take part in, that expand and challenge young people through activities.
Being a youth worker has always been a dream job of mine. I had a youth worker that changed my life when I was young and now my goal is to do the same for others by crating opportunities to see them thrive and step in to who they are.
I am a big music man – no pun intended lol!! I love music it gives me a space to share and create.
If I had to compare myself to a super hero I would choose kung fu panda !! Super into food and jokes lol

My dream for our community is to create a safe, fun learning environment that enables young people to succeed no matter what walk of life they come from. A space that encourages change but accepts people as they are and we would walk with through the change they want.
