I’m Jay, Transitions Youth Worker supporting rangatahi into adulthood here at the Youth Centre!
Born and raised in South Auckland, later moving to Australia where I started Youth Work with the Indigenous Wadjarri. On this journey I inherited passions for social injustices, inequality | inequity, volunteering and community. This experience had a profound impact on my worldview and feel honored and privileged to work in this space back home in Aotearoa.
Outside of my role I love trying new things, getting to know people and getting out of my comfort zone. Personal Mantra – “hoatu nui atu i to tango”
