Our organisation has undergone a lot of changes recently, and more importantly has a great vision and strategic outlook.
In order to look forward, the importance of looking back was realised. This lead to the the publishing of our whakapapa. Rather than just have a box of photos and clippings in a back room, we thought we would display our whakapapa to the world through an online interactive timeline.
Unfortunately, over the years a lot of pictures, media and other collatorol has been lost. So a great deal of researching was required to make this project a reality. Interviews were conducted and council files were pulled in order to accurately tell (and show) the story of our 30 year whakapapa.
