Kia Ora. My name is Arnold and I work in the youth employment team as a Workplace Opportunities Broker. This means that I engage with businesses to open up pathways to employment for our rangatahi.
I’m originally from South Africa, and moved to Aotearoa in November 2019 with my family.
All of my working background has been in business banking, where I’ve held management roles across a variety of commercial banks for more than 15 years.
My current role with the Youth Centre draws from my prior business banking relationship experience so that I can better work with Rotorua based businesses to achieve positive employment outcomes for all related parties. I am a firm believer in the principles of equality, diversity and inclusivity and whole-heartedly support the various initiatives of the Youth Centre.
