Youth Employment Plus – Rotorua was extremely proud to be the official sponsors of two award categories; Most Outstanding Youth Employee of the Year, and Youth Employer of the Year! Recognising young star employees and the most supportive, youth friendly employers in Rotorua. The Youth Employment Plus – Youth Employer of the year is Ashleigh Nairn from Burger Fuel Fairy Springs recognised for outstanding effort in actively employing and supporting young people within their business. Also recognised for their excellence and high achievement in consistently providing job opportunities for Rangatahi, actively engaging youth in the workplace and supporting youth to grow, develop and succeed.
The Youth Employment Plus – Youth Employee of the year went to 17 year old George Parry who was recognised for his commitment, hard work and initiative in improving customer service at his workplace McDonald’s Rotorua.
